Dubrovnik, Croatia

Dubrovnik was an exceptionally beautiful and intriguing place - I would like to go back and perhaps spend some more time in other nearby cities. Most of my time in DU was actually spent lounging by the Adriatic and eating. This was a great place to just relax after all the touring.

 View from above
The historic wall that surrounds the old town-we hiked up it for a while to get photo's, but it was smoking hot!
View from the cable car that takes you up above DU

Hard to resist taking these photo's even though they never ever turn out

At the top of the mountain there is a museum that covers the war in Croatia in 1991

This fish was delicious! The waiter said that this is the hardest fish to catch in Croatia, it takes the fisherman 2.5 hours to catch one, because they are so smart. I felt a little bad eating the fish after hearing this story of resistance....
